Either you use a firewall that allows specific programs to go through the firewall, not depending on port used, or you use a firewall where you can specify which port to be open perpetually. It is *not* advisable to shut down your firewall. Use a program like AWSPS from http://www.atelierweb.com to determine which port is being used, then configure your firewall to allow traffic through that port. If you can't keep your firewall up, you should forget using a program, as your PC security is compromised too much. J.
