Only an opinion. But I have played a couple of thousand (3000+) blitz games between Crafty 18.xx and Yace 0.yy using ERT on my dual machine and currently Yace is in the lead with about two hundred fifty points. The main observations are that Yace is better tactically, if a tad speculative, and Crafty wins repeat games and when Yace makes bad trades. And when analyzing endgames I have switched from Crafty to Yace as a first choice. MvH Dan Andersson
