It took approx. 0:30 with a 56K modem (the download rate being 4.xx KB/sec.) for
me. Btw. it was announced that smaller updates will be provided, instead of the
big complete downloads, after the current f7setup4 beta release.
If you have that time available occasionally, I can recommend it. I'm sure you
will like it. Many chess server options including advanced chess ("centaurs")
for example, or automatic engine games, etc.
Various chess and computer chess people can be met there then and when for a
chat (some use nick names, but show their real names in the personal infos
similar to the ICC fingernotes).
