I find that RebelCentury is very adaptable in it's personalitys and strength. You can weaken Rebel & change its Attacking level or King Safety level Search Style etc., for more variation in opponent type. In this "set a playing strength & style" Rebel & CM7k are similar. I actually think that Rebel is a better "weaker" player than CM7k. You lose instead of getting flogged, but "weaker" Rebel doesn't blunder the way CM7k seems to. Both RebelCent & CM7k are extremely good at proper chess for analysis of games. Just my observations, Tina Long
