My thanks to: Moritz Berger for all his nice sites and to Komputer
Korner for there input.

I find out that just running cm5k all these years has left me ignorant
about current complifications and diverse opinions of chess playing
software and technical terminoligy.

Be that as it may on to the question at hand.
Hi More Fritz questions

Given that I have 40 meg's ram total and the requirements are for 8 meg
ram, can I assume that the optimum allocation is thus 32 meg for hash
tables and 8 meg for the program.

For these figures how long will it take to fill the hash table up.Is
there a equation for this ( I can handle it as I am a EE, retired)

Review: The computer is a laptop, pentium 100, 40 mg ram and have
approximately 260 meg of space left on hard drive. Does anyone see any
problem with the available hard drive ? My last bulleton board message
said i had plenty of hard drive, but now I think with the purchase of
power book of some kind maybe that is not that much ?

Love this forum, Hope I am not abusing its intention, but I am learning
more here than I could have thought possible,----sooooooo many opinion's
is good !

Thanks all

Wayne Lowrance
