This has never hurt it in games against me, but surely it should stop for a bit of a think by the 3rd or 4th move. I have noticed that Hiarcs Very quickly finds a good move, and very quickly get to about ply8 but then it ponders too long & will not get to ply9 or will waste time getting to ply9. I wait keenly for news of Hiarcs8!! Tina Long
