With what you have I'd suggest setting the Hash at 20 megs, and changing it upwards if needs be. I think the opening book that comes with Fritz5 is adequate. As has been said elsewhere, you can create your own large opening book. With the Fritz5 patch you can import other opening books, even the Chessmaster books. Anyway, you can't go wrong. Chessbaseusa can give lots of information. The T-Notes section gives lots of info and E-Mail Lopez and he is good at answering.
