Since you seem to be new but very ambitious and talented you may want to try
your hand at the ChessBase protocol to make ChessBase engines run in other GUI's
like WinBoard and ChessAssistent.
Their protocol is not officially an open source, yet I lately saw a site where
it was explained in all details. It's not for laymen though so I did not
bookmark it.
If someone still remembers the URL of that site, post it here.
It would be very nice if you could run tournaments with all ChessBase engines
and all other engines that can not run in ChessBase GUI.
