I have a lot of respect for you and the rest of the members who post here, but I
think that there is something wrong with that idea and here is why:

1. Bobby Fisher has posted comments that he appearantely harbors some
predujuice against some other people or races, many people do but never admit
too.
2. He was and may still be one of the greatest chess players in the world. No
one can say now because he has dropped out of active competition.
3. The main interest of this club is both chess and computer chess, and if some
one had written a superior chess program, reguardless of their beliefs or
predujuices, I believe that most people would support it.
4. I could care less whether the man is a Catholic, Jew, Prodestatn, Muslum,
Athiest, black, white, red, yellow, or blue. I don't care if he eats bugs or has
sex with a donkey. The main thing is that he had and may still have something to
contribute to the world of chess and I think that that is the formost important
thing we should care about.
5. When the U.S. was in a cold war with Russia, did we boycott the Russian
Players? I think not and I don't think that we shold boycott B. Fisher either.

Many of the members here may not agree with me on these matters, but then I am
not running for any kind of office, and I respect the opinions of others whether
I agree with them or not and think that most people should too.

Do what you wish with the Fisher matter, but I think that it is a petty matter
to ban or bar his name from the 'chess club'.
Bill
