i am interested.
first i thought these pda's are toys.
but christophe convinced me. i tried it out and i like those machines, no matter
if my pc is much faster, my pc is loud, difficult to transport.
its expensive and consumes much power.
even a notebook is big, loud and needs much power.

but a pda, you can put it into your pocket, you have in with you everywhere.
and it only needs 2 batteries. thats all.
it can play chess.
wow. it can transmit the games via irda to my laptop. it can even use
the cellphone/mobile to download emails.
and i get rid of bill gates.
it automatically shuts down the machine, and when i press the ON-button
it instantly continues consideration where it was before.
no reason to boot, to wait.
its marvellous.

the question is: how strong is such a cheap machine.
in germany the m100 gets sold arround 219-249,- DM in the moment.
so for the price of the ipaq i can buy 3-5 pda's.

i can overclock the pda without any problems.
and it runs IMO stronger than my old vancouver 68020 from 1991-92.

?!?!?!?!?

i don't understand.
its an easy job. you can do this while having breakfast.
take them on the table and let them play against each other. whats the problem?

i have 3 in the moment. and i do have many dedicated chess computers . and i let
them play against each other. and: the pda is better.

right.

From

i have to respect richards will.
