Subject: Chessmaster Personality Ratings: How much time per move to be accurate?

I recently purchased Chessmaster8000 because I was interested in what moves it
would suggest compared to REBEL and HIARCS.

My question is about the ratings of the various personalities of Chessmaster.
Just for example, take the "Max" character whose rating is 1588. What time
limit should "Max" use to play at this supposed 1588? Is it the generally
accepted time limit of 40 moves in 120 minutes for longer games? If I set up
"Max" to move at a rate of about 45 seconds per move, would I have to subtract
~150 points, for a new rating of 1438?

(45 seconds is 180 seconds divided by four. Each 1/2 of time reduces the rating
by ~75 [[or so I have heard]]).

Or, suppose I got a new computer that was twice as fast as the one I have now.
Given the longer time control, would I now have to add ~75 points to "Max" for a
new rating of 1663?
