I already did it in comparing the time the ipaq needed to solve some test positions with the time that my p200 needed to do it. my p200 is at least 5 times faster based on my test. I read that for Genius it is only 4 times faster. Otherwise how can people claim that a mere >Palm III xe with only 16 MHz 8 MB memory can produce a 2200 Elo Using Chess >Tiger 14.6. I think that I guessed 2100-2200 and not 2200. Whereas the iPaq h3670 is almost 20 times faster, then we should be >able to reach at least a 2460 Elo. I believe that the top programs of today can get 2460 on 486 hardware and my impression is that the pocket pc is at the same speed as 486. Fritz3 already got an IM norm on p90 some years ago. p90 is faster than 486 but the top programs of today are better than Fritz3. Uri
