People here have the right to express opinions even if the opinions are wrong.
I prefer to assume that the poster expressed his opinion even if I have doubts
about it.

1)I do not know that Bob said recently that the strongest programs play around
2400.

2)I honestly believe that the top programs are better than 2450.
They even did performance of more than 2700 in some tournaments.

My guess is that their rating against humans should be 2600-2700.

I think that there is an agreement of everyone including Bob Hyatt that the best
program of today on the hardware of today are at least 2500 strength.

3)I believe that the strongest programs of today are only 100 elo better than
Crafty in comp-comp games when I tend to believe that the difference is smaller
in comp-human games because Crafty has some knowledge that Deep Fritz and Tiger
do not have about trojan horse sacrifices.
