I asked Victor about this some time ago and this is the answer he gave:

CALight limitations

Databases:
-Databases are limited with 15 000 games
-No more than 5 databases can be opened simultaneously
-Games are limited with 255 moves (including moves in variations)
-In case of editing a game library fields in header are cleared
As PGN databases don't have libraries these databases can be
edited without problems.

Analysis:
-No Tiger engines and they can''t be linked
-UCI and MCS engines are not supported
-Analysis is off after 40 moves for infinite analysis (monitor)
-When at least one castling is not available tree is not visible

Classifiers:
-Classifiers are read-only
All modes that write data to classifiers don''t work properly

ICC:
-No on-line comment feature
-One ICC console only
-No more than 2 games can be opened on ICC simultaneously.
-No game autosaving on ICC
-Analysis is off after 30 moves (while observing games)
-No AutoSend line option when observing a game
