Like I said, I was unsure. AMD says the new XP chips have *special* technology,
that cannot be picked up by older BIOS'es. Even most of the single AMD mobo's
needed a BIOS flash to use the XP CPU's.

Seems like a big chance.

The only thing I know, is that a Tyan employee told me once, "any cpu with a
square core, will SMP on our boards."

The new XP's have square cores. It's a $550 risk. Not sure if I want to take
that.

But the XP-MP's will probably be $400 a piece! Which is a *tad* much.
