If you compare that DF only gain 72 points whereas, Shredder 5.32 gain >as much as 99 Points. Nothing is amazing here. It was already posted here by jouni aski that shredder earns more speed for the athlon(shredder is 4.73 times faster when Deep Fritz is only 3.4 times faster). Here is a better estimate based on the ssdf results and jouni aski's numbers for the gain for doubling the speed. Deep Fritz 40.78=72*ln2/ln3.4 gambittiger 56.76=80*ln2/ln2.67 tiger14 50.11=71*ln2/ln2.67 shredder5.32 44.16=99*ln2/ln4.73 Junior7 30.93=55*ln2/ln3.43 gandalf4.32h 59.02=142*ln2/ln5.3 Note that the errors in the rating are too big to get a conclusion but if you should guess based on the data than Gandalf and Gambittiger seem to earn the most from fast hardware and not Shredder.
