No, indeed. I saw your message and replied to it, admitting my mistake.
That message was about a slightly different line, I think:
1. ... Kf6 2. Kf4 Ke6 3. Ke3 Ke5 4. Kf3 Kf6 5. Kf4 Kg6
where you pointed out that 6 g4! draws.
You didn't mention 3. g4! (with the Black king on e6), so I rather stupidly
assumed that the first three moves were OK. I was wrong, of course.

No - it makes nor real difference whether the Black king is on g6 or e6.
