Old Habit, I suppose. And the fact that most of my previous computing experience is non GUI based. I used commandline and character based intefaces for over twenty years. Only last few years have I been stuck with visual interfaces. I still use VI for editing and writing text, CVS for versioning and prefer Bash to point and click and find it easy to remember command line switches. And I do believe that frequent use of memory helps stave off senility and intellectual lazyness. VGA graphis cannot be mistaken for reality, so it is mainly symbolic in contents. MvH Dan Andersson
