Well buy a maxtor and you'll know. despite that it's pretty slow
around 5400RPM it's pretty hot. All maxtors i've had in my hands i
never could keep long in my hands as they got too hot.

I exchanged them for an IBM, which also gets pretty hot but not near
the maxtor. the ibm is 7200RPM.

All stuff that's checked less well that's called Maxtor, the stuff
that's checked and passes test is sold under different brand name by
the same dudes.
