If I were to delete your post and not tell you, assuming I was a moderator, and
assuming that you were the average member, there is a good chance that you'd get
angry and post a "where did my post go" email.  This is why I think that it is
essential that email go to people who have posts deleted.

The case that can't be covered is the case where people make a hotmail account,
use the hotmail account to create an account here, and then never look at the
hotmail account again.

In this case, the people don't "get" the email, and that's what happened here.

In those cases you still get the enraged response, but it's not the moderators'
fault.  The guy should get his email address changed to one that he reads.
