Alain,

We have an AMD 450 and an AMD 1400 and compared to the three other Intel PCs
they work just as well.  Word, Excel and games are just as good on the AMDs.

If you are an Intel devotee then stick with them. You can't go wrong.  Most
people here are more adventurous than that.  Try an AMD and you will be pleased.

For games you want a fast video processor.  The computer chips on the videocards
are neither Intel or AMD.  What's in a name.
