I believe that Fritz suffered more from learning problems. The result was 10.5-3.5 for Crafty and it suggests that Crafty is 200 elo better and I do not believe that the difference between these programs is more than 100 elo. I know that in a short match everything can happen but when I see this kind of result I suspect that there is another problem and I only needed to look at the games for a short time to find that Fritz5.32 started 1.c4 in all the games.
