For the human personeletys the order is not corectly
I have seen beter performance of lower rated personeletys then from higher

What about my rating you may gues it

I used too play with chessmaster online
The pitty of online games that you always get a group who is terorising the rest
And of course cheating without admiting it
The point is simply that firewalls don't work to well in aplications outside IE
But they are working on this

Well the biggest problem from chessmaster indeed the problem of the book editor
I tried to make a new book by hand but I had to save after every line or the
book crashed and I could start over again
An other problem is that chessmaster does not read sublines so after importing
games with anotation it reprts mistakes
Or if a game starts not in the begin position the importing of games stops

You also should ask Johan if he could improve the king safety of the King engine
The trouble of Chessmaster is that it mostly looks 1 sided to a board position
Always in favour of himself
Mostlikely this is why it plays with a prety human kind of style

Nice detail is when Chessmaster 5000 came out it found deeper mates then any
other full chessprogram this never improved while other programs did

An other problem of Chessmaster is the voice for the moves some way the intire
system becomes unstabile because of this

What about boards I use the small 2d board maple for most of the games
In 3d the Bleu Marble but other piece sets are welcom
aslong if they are recognisable enough.

I am actualy also wating for the moment you start too use batle simulations in
the kidsroom
You also will find other custommers if you do
Batlechess always was a best seller

I am one of the persons who sees chess as art

Myself I am curently working on such a project
Movies wich simulate the time the GM's had the most sucses
And the same simulated GM behind the board making the moves
But i gues with mattels knowledge they can do this better then me.

And yes that you have to insert the cd with CM8000 update is prety anoying
so 5

What about other program s I gues Just as most posters here
I have them all I own all chessmaster version too the only one I don't have is
CM7000 but i have 2000 2100 3000 4000 5000 5500 6000 8000
And the gameboy version
same counts for most other comercial programs
