I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about here. Are you referring to the hard drive space that is used to play the audio? If so, then this is the "fault" of Windows. CM allocates memory based on the need to decompress and play audio -- Windows attempts to allocate this memory intelligently -- CM frees the memory. BUT, if the "memory" was actually part of the Windows swap file, then there is no guarantee that Windows will free up that hard drive space immediately after CM "frees" it. If you are referring to something else, let me know.... jm
