1000-1500-2000 (toward the middle of this range).

Not too often, I usually play against a personality in the Game Room.

I like to do some tournaments but don't include myself.

I think it is OK as is. I made no more than six personalities to fill out what I
thought were some gaps in the Age/Gender/Playing Strength list.

I maybe would do a round robin with more than 8 but I don't really mind.

Yes, plenty of times.

Yes I like to tinker with the CM8000 Book Editor to create new books. Sometimes
it would be nice to exceed 64K but I've done pretty well just by trimming odd
variations from my input .pgn. 64K is plenty for my personal openings and
personality opening books even out to 40 ply. Thanks for making that change in
the last patch :)

Never have.

ChessBase 8, Chessbase Light (freeware), a bunch of engine CD's.

Yes, I like the Josh teaching games. I did a few dozen of the lessons, pick and
choose.

I thought it worked out pretty good. I found the command line tips posted here
and elsewhere useful.

The provided number is OK but feel free to add as many as you want. The ones I
don't use don't bother me to be there.

Yes

Thematic

It's a pain. I'd say a 4. I'd be tempted to dump it if it weren't for the
bootleg NoCD fix.

Yes

I think the number of variables is OK. I wouldn't bother with more unless you
have something really useful or cool.

N/A But I would like to see really great documentation of the existing ones.

I like the CM8000 style best.

1024x768

Clock, Move List, and Engine output or whatever it's called.

No problem as long as you can close the unwanted ones.

>

I use the 2D Black and White Metal and a 2D wooden one, large and small.
Sometimes I like the mini if I've got something else going on.

I am happy with what's there. I do think a scaling 2D board would be cool.
Someone is always going to whine about 3D but do you think they ever post a
picture of what they want? Are 3D ones easy to play on computer? Not that I've
seen.

I'd estimate 1500. I think what Chessmaster 8000 ranks me is probably a little
on the high side?? Who knows, it's not important to me.
