Subject: Is IQ.1004 correct?

I don't suppose the programs have any great problems finding the line:

1. d6 cxd6 2. Rxe7 Qxe7 3. Nd5 Nxd5 4. Bxe7

That is the idea, isn't it?

But after (say)

4... Nxe7 5. Qxe7 Be6 6. Qxd6 Nc4

Black has a solid position, only a small material disadvantage,
and prospects of counterplay.

So it's a matter of fine positional judgement whether cashing in
with 1. d6 is actually any better than maintaining the pressure
with 1. Ne5.
