For a list of your choices, see the Macintosh Chess Software Index page:
http://dmoz.org/Games/Board_Games/C/Chess/Software/Macintosh/

There are many programs that will review your game and give their
evaluation of the best continuation for each move for a specified side (or
both).

The strongest (in order) are HIARCS 7 Mac, Chessmaster 6000 for Mac,
Crafty 18.01 Mac, Sigma Chess and MacChess. For tournment results for
some of the programs, see: http://www.atpm.com/7.02/chess.shtml
My HIARCS 6/7 Mac review is at:
http://www.gambitsoft.com/chess/games/hiar6me.htm

This will all look a bit dry, though - just move sequences and a numerical
rating. Chessmaster will give you "english" commentary, if you like, but
many of the comments will be pitifully inane (as one other respondent
indicated, this is pretty much true of any chess program that tries to
provide "english" commentary.). Still, if that's what you want, Chessmaster
is the only current Mac program that offers this option.

Sigma Chess has a nice feature where it will only provide its proposed
moves for moves where it disagrees sufficiently with the game continuation.
With HIARCS, for example, you get comments on every move you request one,
even if it simply matches the game continuation. On the other hand,
HIARCS comments are coming from a much stronger engine.
