I don't know if this applies to Nimzo or not, but one of the main differences is that an offensive program does not take as many chances and often protects it own men more while an agressive one will gladly swap and make more attacks often assuming that it will win out in the long run. You might wait for more experienced programmers to give their answers before settling on an absolute truth. Bill
