But I think the >engineer broke something, because it doesn't find a mate (in 12) very quick: If you do something interesting, and it is not "state secret", say me later what you do. Curious to see what other people do in their free time. It could be that you will find mate just after 12 moves. Mine found mate in 12 (13 sec) and all mate parameters are very acceptable. In this position checking moves lead to mate. I searched this mate only 10 moves by brute force. Eleven must take around 3 hours and this I will be able to do only at night. After 10, will know for sure how deep this position really is. Heiner's solver with hash could respond more quickly but for now I try to use only my program. It could be that at certain point I will hit some bug. Solving mate is all the time good fun but also very useful verification. >07:57 WM12 12 Nxf8+ Qxf8 Qfxf5+ Qdxf5 Qxf5+ Q3xf5 Qxf5+ Nxf5 Qxh8+ Kxh8 Qe5+ Kh7 >Qxf5+ Qfxf5 Qxg8+ Kh6 Nxf5+ Qxf5 Qg7+ Kxh5 Qxf5+ Kh4 Qh5# > >But at least it did find something, so there's still hope! ;) > >Dobriy vetcher, Good evening for you as well!
