Some time ago I tested speedup P233MMX vs. AMD K6/233 on the whole LCT II testsuite (maybe Albert Silver remembers the exact results). Increasing hash tables from 12288 KB to 98304 KB yielded an overall speed improvement of factor 1.3x (the P233 was then 1.8something times faster than the K6 with 12MB hash) Moritz
