The main reason the Japaneese are taking over the Automobile,TV, VCR etc. etc
industries in the US is that about 40 years ago they accepted a concept called
"Quality".  They realized that Quality in a product is not expensive in fact it
is cheaper to do it right the first time than to spend time fixing your
mistakes.  Too bad the rest of the world has not caught on to this concept.  The
buying public recoginizes and shops for quality.  Industries that ignore it are
doomed to mediocrity.
