I hope so. I like Palm and PalmOS very much, but if they don't manage to get
this working by the end of 2002, I think they are dead.

However I think they'll do it. The steps they are taking to buy Be Inc (this
should be settled by Nov 12) show that they consider the evolution of their OS
very seriously, and that they understand they need help. At least they admit
that their OS has not evolved significantly since 2 years and that something has
to be done about this.

I think they are also actively working on it.
