In the Good Olde Days Chessbase used to include the old programs and/or engines with newer versions. For instance, the Fritz 4 package included Fritz 3, the Fritz 5 package included the Fritz 3 and Fritz 4 programs as well as a Fritz 1 engine. The original version of Fritz 5.32 included the same packages as Fritz 5, but the modified version excluded Fritz 4. Fritz 6 only includes a Fritz 5.32 engine, and nothing else. It would be "good style" for Fritz 7 to include the Fritz 6 engine -- does it? As for myself, there's no question about it: I'll be buying Fritz 7 in the next few weeks... but then again, I'm a computer chess junkie :)
