Subject: So there's no Top-Engine for Linux?

Author: Aloisio Ponti Lopes

That makes Computer Chess really an expensive hobby... :-(

No Fritz, Gandalf, Rebel, Tiger, Junior, Hiarcs, Nimzo, M-Chess, Shredder for
Linux... that means that Linux users must go only with Crafty and Yace, maybe
Diep? I don't think those other listed "linux-compatible" engines are good
enough for chess analysis...

That means US$ 250.00 for SO upgrades every 1 1/2 year... or a new US$1,000.00
machine every 2 years... just to remain "Windows updated"? Can't stand with
that!
