The first thing I look at on the SSDF (& similar) list is who is first, then I look where is Hiarcs732 & THEN I look at the closeness & variability of the numbers. The fastest man in the world running 100m is what? 0.1 second faster than the rest, AND occassionally gets beaten. Tell HIM that the 0.1 is too little to matter, and then run away (very quickly).
