CDB 1.3 has been uploaded to http://reality.sgi.com/pmk_craypark with a few new features, some bugfixes, and the completion of its database server capabilities. When running as a server, CDB accepts TCP connections that allow other programs to make queries and upload information into a database. This should allow CDB to serve as a cheap opening book tool for chessplaying program development. The protocol is ASCII and is spelled out in the internal documentation.
