I ran Win2k for almost 2 years...yes it is generally better then Win98/ME, but
there are plenty of programs that simply do not work in Win2k.

I am running WinXP now, and currently, I haven't found anything aside from my
burner that doesn't work in WinXP.  My burner is detected as a cdreader only in
winxp, but HP is theoriticly making the needed drivers to fix that at some
point....(sure).
