Pocket shredder uses hash tables, but not tablesbases due to their size. It
automatically allocates its hash tables based on your free application memory. I
have a 32MB machine and it normally gets about 4500KB of memory for hash. I'm
not sure if the processor is fast enough to get any benefit out of the added
hash a 64MB machine would get you. Perhaps one someone who's programmed an
engine can answer that.

However.. I think you'll find that if you buy the 32MB machine you'll quickly
fill up the internal memory with applications, and will then need expansion
memory of some sort (I have a 256MB CF card for this purpose). If you can afford
it the extra memory in a 64MB machine will definitely be useful for the general
use of the device.
