Hi,

01.
Chess-Assistant 6.1
(engine support, information on monitor, possibiltys and
possiblitys for analyses --> the most important option)

02.
Chess-Academy 6.0
(learn options, database options, WinBoard support, a great software).

Also Chessmaster 8000 with a lot of very interesting options,
very good WinBoard support.

03.
Shredder 5.0
(very clear and eays GUI with all important options). The best 2D Grafik from
all chess GUIs. Bad is the database support, WinBoard support.

04.
Chess-Base GUIs
(to many errors in standard options, to many crahes)
Very good engine-engine options and grafic.

I know 90% GUIs (not Chess Partner) and for me is absolut clear that
Chess-Assistant 6.1 is for chess player and computer chess fans the best GUIs
which we have. The problem here is the grafik. The grafik from Chess-Base is
better, so user thinking Chess-Base GUIs are better :-)) The chess board is not
big enough. I hope of a better grafik, more eng-eng options and CA is to 90%
perfect.

Best
Frank
