OK, we have no a reason that Fritz can play against Kramnik :-)) I wrote in the past about x reasons why Shredder must played! Here in CCC forum I wrote on the day where I read about the match that maybe a new World Championship can solved the problem. Now Shredder and Junior are World Champions and Shredder is absolute World Champion (London). I thinking at the moment on the situation that Fritz won the latest World Championchip. In all newspager are standing Fritz is World Champion. Now the news pager can only write ... Fritz is the best program in the World :-)) Marketing ... Money ... We will see which way going computer chess after this event. I will not search a new discuss about all the mistakes in the organisation of this match. But I hope that in the future the publicity is a little bit better and persons thinking about this bad action to play with Fritz. And yes, Shredder, Tiger, Gandalf, Junior, Fritz, Rebel and TheKing have not chances also in my opinion against Kramnik. So it is not important which program played the match againt Kramnik. But clear is Shredder won 4 of the latest 5 World Championships and this allone is to 100% reason enough to play with Shredder and not with Fritz. Uri, What do you mean ... Know Keene that Shredder won the 4 of the 5 latest World Championchips and do you know that Keene make analyses with Shredder, do you know Keene know all top programs or do you know for GM Keene is computer chess not important more other things ... will not say this. The complete group of organisators made a very very very bad work with the organisation, qualification tourney with all what I read and know. False people sitting on the false position and it is absolute clear why the CSS clear messages from me about this theme in Fritz Forum (CSS Forum). But I wrote here not aggressive I asked for a poll ... Which program must play against Kramnik, only a poll ! I believe the result must be clear ... But this match is not all what we have but for the future it is better the right persons make a good organisation for such events. Best Frank
