So I am not a very strong chess player (2.000 ELO not more) but I thinking in the past that chess programs have not more as 2.350 in correspondence chess. A friend is playing with the combination Shredder / Tiger / Gandalf / Yace in correspondence chess and have also 2.470 ELO ! On the other hand it is clear that programs get more chess knowledge (best example is Fritz in the past) and are know a little bit stronger. I think Kramnik beat all of the best chess programs on very fast hardware with 70% ... Thanks, very interesting ... Best Frank
