You can add me to this list if you want. The progress of this engine goes in steps, likewise with playing on this account. Right now I'm just getting me to buy Heinz's book and this years ICGA journals so I hope to be inspired to work on it in the following month. http://www.chessclub.com/finger/PolarChess I see you try to make a rating list out of it, what is the proper method to deal with different personalities. Ex. one week I want to test (and work with) a personality that playes in the 1500 range. Next week maybe I would work with the 'full' strength because of some new ideas. If I just switch between this the first 10-20 players that playes me would perhaps play against an engine with a playing strength of about 2200 but its rating is still 1500. I'm sure the 2100 player that lose to a 1500 engine would not be happy if he get to know what happend. Odd Gunnar
