That shouldn't be an excuse, you should be aware of such things when you're
using the interface. I didn't see Frank Zibi complain when he lost (at least)
one game in the Wch because he couldn't take back a move.

If the rules prohibited restarting winboard then that's where it ends... I lost
against XiniX on time in Leiden earlier this year because my time correction was
bugged (I _was_ aware of the problem, yet chose a wrong solution). The position
could have become a draw, but you didn't see me make a scene about it.

Regarding the sportsmanship, expect those it at the chessclub, not during
tourneys. I'm sure Vincent isn't the only one who would have claimed the win on
time, just like there are people in normal chess tourneys who will.
