I lost against XiniX on time in Leiden earlier this year because my time correction was bugged (I _was_ aware of the problem, yet chose a wrong solution). The position could have become a draw, but you didn't see me make a scene about it. Regarding the sportsmanship, expect those it at the chessclub, not during tourneys. I'm sure Vincent isn't the only one who would have claimed the win on time, just like there are people in normal chess tourneys who will.
