There were no chess programs at that time so the analysis was not serious
analysis.

I trust more analysis from today and not analysis that is more than 40 years
old.

I remember that there was a discussion about the position in the last years and
it seems that white can get a draw by correct defence.

I do not know what you mean by "the position *is* correct"
If you mean that the move of Fritz gives the best practical chances then you are
correct but if you mean that the move is winning then you are probably wrong(I
am not sure because I did not waste time to check the analysis)
