It is a pity that the Mathematica software is so expensive. Not that I think I would get around to using it a lot, if I had it, but it is sure very fascinating. Was there a special reason why this site was off the air for a year? I never visited it before. At the more affordable end of scientific computing applications and products, I just read that the Australian Calculator Operation, the group that made the last HP 49 calculator, is shutting down operations. A shame! That news is on http://www.hpcalc.org/ which is one of my favourite places to visit, just to see what cute little or not so little new programs HP enthusiasts are puting together and then giving away. One of these days I'm going to learn RPL well, I promise! Basic is much easier though, and that you can't do on the HP 48, but it is on the new 49. Thanks for the link! Eelco
