What if _I_ bring a laptop with linux and the chess server to the
tournament?  No bad connections now.  No lag.  No problems of any
kind...

Everybody needs a server interface.  I would suggest xboard / winboard for
obvious reasons.  Everybody uses the same interface, there can be _no_ question
about whether a particular message from the server means "a" or "b".

Not done right.  The remedy cures _all_ the human-related problems before things
