  First, killer books are against a given opponent or set of opponents. There
does not exist such a book for black that refutes every white move. You can
write a book for a given program that refutes some lines of other program/s
book/s.
  Tablebases hits happen when you have the corresponding file. There're
tablebase files for 3, 4, 5 and some 6 pieces endings.
