Hi Christophe,

WOW, international... :) Okay, I translate myself... (My sentences not yours)
To my luck my school-french works good enoug to understand you, Christoph, even
without babelfish... but I do not answer you in french because for that I would
need the dictionary to often...

You completely miss the point. Look at Eduard - he can nearly nothing in english
- anyway his games are interesting and we see quite often long threads about
them. So will you forbid him to post here ? Fully clear is, that main language
IS english, but if someone has problems to get understood or search help or
anything else and can only do that in a different language I would be the last
one who get angry about it, especially when Eduard is so kind to mark his
postings also with (German) - you were not so kind to mark your posting with
(French).
But I also agree with Sarah's point - if possible one should try to explain in
english... I know my english is very bad, but I try - there are often some sort
of things which I would like to say in german because I think I know a little
bit more words in german and my feeling for the language is much better - it is
sometimes not easy to prevent you from saying something offensive which is not
thought as offensive, simply because you are not good enough in that language...
same vice versa - I might get angry about something that was in reality fully
different in sense...
In case of Eduard and Slate the somehow german thread did get a little bit
longer... but is that such a big problem ? No tolerance in Gouadeloupe about
those who does not speak english ?
So let it like it is, I think it is working fine. And I promise this was the
last time I write german in this club - when you promise that you stop that
french... okay ?! :) But be tolerant about Eduard. How many postings are this ?
1% 0.1% 0.01% - is that of any importance ?
By the way - I am administrator of the winboard-forum which is also
international, not nearly as big as the CCC, but it is also not what I would say
small... from time to time we had any language there, spain, italian, german,
serbish, hungary... whatever... Noone ever complaints about that - it is of no
importance after all... good is that everybody gets help and someone to discuss
- that's the reason behind those forums - my opinion. English is the main
language because the biggest group can understand that - but it can't be the
only language because some people would be out else... keep cool...

Greets, Thomas
