It is also possible that the weaker program was lucky to find that it wins. You can play Fritz at depth x against Fritz at depth x+1 and you will be surprised to find that Fritz at depth x can win small part of the games. Fritz at depth x+1 is the better program but it is not enough never to lose games. Uri
