x+1 I understand. Better vision gives a better chance of playing the better moves, or atleast greater ideas. But sometimes "a little knowledge is bad" But still, perhaps in such a case, if it is very clearly that, It may not matter if the stronger program loses. But should be very rare. S.Taylor
